After I heard about the little boy, I am too sick to talk about, I have decided that I am not going to watch the news at all. Until the day comes that the government reinstates Tar and Feathering, Public Stoning, and assorted other capital punishments.

Just to be a little more specific, I will not be watching the news because everytime I watch it, I hear about some sick person who hurt/abused/tortured/starved etc. a child. It makes me sick.

My life keep up with most of the added negativity in my life keep up with most of the news have never really been into it and almost every now and almost.
Unfortunately most of what the media considers “news” is sensationalized. You will surely hear about every sicko out there. It is packaged to get your attention so they can sell advertising time. The last realistic and unbiased newscaster I can think of was Howard K. Smith. He presented the news without coloring it. He presented several nightly news items about the war in Vietnam. It was only years later that I found out he was a strong anti-war advocate. I stopped watching network news years ago and have not missed anything significant.
