Allegations Declined As Bishop Eddie Long Photos Arise
Photos of Bishop Eddie Long have surfaced that were allegedly sent to the men by whom he is being sued. The new Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which Long is the head pastor of, has over 24,000 members. The Bishop Long scandal involves some boys which were mentored by Long. Bishop Long has preached a fervently anti-gay information for years, which makes the charges against him of inappropriate sexual acts with young men that much more odd.

Not long following the lawsuit was filed against Eddie Long, photos started surfacing of the pastor, as outlined by CBS. The photos are surely of Bishop Long. They were allegedly sent by him to the boys suing him. Some of the pictures are definitely not official portraits. The pictures show Long posing in really tight fitting clothing. Even the plaintiffs’ lawyer states the pictures in question are innocent. Eddie Long, senior pastor of the new Birth Missionary Baptist Church, did send the plaintiffs e-mails, though the content remains unknown.
The legal action gets a 4th
Now, four people, as outlined by CNN, are suing Bishop Long. The suit alleges Long used his position within the church to elicit sex favors. All four young men come from severely disadvantaged programs, and also allege Long used his position as a benefactor also as a high-profile clergyman. Long maintains his innocence. He has fervently denied all allegations. Long has been labeled a bigot in the past for his stance o n homosexuality. Long has also called for a nationwide ban on same sex marriages.
It’ll wait until his day in court
The case is going to go in front of a judge. Bishop Long ministers to a mega-church. The membership totals over 24,000. There is usually never an empty seat at one of his sermons, which routinely draw over 10,000.
