Libya Unrest Awarded To Bin Laden And Drugged Coffee In Gadhafi Speech
In a recent Moammar Gadhafi presentation addressing unrest in Libya, the North African dictator held accountable the Libya demonstrations on odd factors. Gadhafi held accountable street violence on narcotics and unrest in the nation on Bin Laden and al Qaida. Gadhafi’s regime is quickly losing control of Libya.
Saying Teens are accountable for violence in Libya
Libya is currently ruled by Moammer Gadhafi. He gave a presentation that was on Libyan state TV recently. In his speech he laid fault for the Libyan revolt on some unexpected parties, according to Reuters. Al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden were to blame for the Libya turmoil, Gadhafi said. He also thinks that teens on drugs are accountable for any violence the North African nation has dealt with. He said that al-Qaida was putting “hallucinatory pills in their drinks, their milk, their coffee, their Nescafe.” He also said that “their ages is 17” in there.
Fights in a third of Libya
The Christian Science Monitor reports that Gadhafi and pro-Gadhafi forces do not have power over almost the whole eastern 3rd of Libya. Cities like Tripoli that are still controlled by Gadhafi have lots of violence continuing while cities like Tobruq and Benghazi that are “liberated” now have become calmed by the fact that they are not ruled by a dictator anymore. Factions of the Libyan army have been defecting to the side of the demonstrators as Gadhafi has ordered them to fire on their countrymen.
Paying more for gas
The Libyan demonstrations are causing the crude gas prices to go up a ton even though Saudi Arabia promised the Libyan revolts would not change the gas production, the New York Times reports. Oil prices ended on Thurs, February 244, at $97.28. They were over $100 during the day at one point though. All of the Middle East unrest is leading to fuel prices going up even more. It’s anticipated they will go over $4 a gallon soon.
