Many Choices Of Healthy Food That You Can Have

December 7th, 2011

There are many alternatives of healthy food with a big content in nutrients. Just maintain a healthy diet and daily exercise, and then sickness in your body won’t be a problem.

Soybean is very ideal food for weight loss. It contains a lot of protein. One study from Australian university has found out that, soy protein has a close relationship with weight loss. This is because soy protein can help accelerate the burning of fat, and thereby reducing the accumulation of fat in the body.

Salads are good for diets because it gives more energy with less guilt. A good example for this can be the little gem, mushroom salad with mustard dressing with 186 calories, 17.2g in fat, and 1.6g in protein. Ingredients thickly sliced celery sticks, finely shredded spring onions, little gem lettuces, closed cup chestnuts mushrooms, extra-virgin oil, Cox’s apple, Dijon mustard, pinch of sugar, and cider vinegar.

Calcium is important for the development of your bones especially the little baby. For instance, if a pregnant woman fails to get enough of this mineral for your body, your fetus will leech from your stores and leave you with weak, brittle bones.

It’s a common misconception that dairy products are the only available source of calcium. However, this mineral is abundant in plant-based foods like green beans, cabbage, okra, oranges, black beans, almonds, hazelnuts, chick peas and broccoli. Calcium from plant sources are absorbed more efficiently by the body than calcium obtained from dairy sources.

It is a bad idea to deprive yourself totally of your favorite foods so the occasional slice of chocolate cake is fine. You don’t need to cut anything out completely. You can, however, make good choices and substitute one food choice for another.

Changes should be made gradually. You can begin by introducing more fresh fruit and vegetables into your diet instead of Organic Cacao or some raw diet, and perhaps swapping white processed bread for whole grain bread.
