What exactly do people mean when they say manifesting abundance? By now, you have most likely heard any number of new age proponents and others telling us that we can control our circumstances and dictate our own destinies. If you think back to your own childhood, you have almost certainly heard this same idea from someone else before. Most likely, a parent or grandparent told you at least once that you could accomplish anything that you put your mind to – and they were right. Your own mind is probably trying to tell you that too; but a lot of us never listen to our own advice, no matter how sage it may be. When it comes down to it, you are responsible for your life; not anyone else.
The truth is that at some point in your life someone has more than likely told you that you are a master of your own destiny, and that you get to choose the life you wish to live. What you need to realize is that everyone possesses the power to manifest abundance, and everyone controls their own manifesting process.
You need to face the fact that the reasons for your life being the way it is right now is due to your wanting it to be just as it is. Yes, all those dead end jobs, mounting bills and unhappy relationships were all your making all by yourself. Only you are to blame for manifesting your present and past reality.
You need to realize, it is you who has created the life you live. Then you need to know that the power is within you to make a change. You can begin right now to manifest abundance in your life. You simply need to change your way of thinking.
The fact of the matter is that mind power is the most powerful tool you have. In fact, the very way you think and the things you think about create the life you long for. For example, when you spend a lot of time thinking about how you’ll manage to pay your bills, you’re subconsciously attracting more bills to your life. Likewise, the more you worry about money, the more financial difficulty you’re likely to experience. The same can be said regarding a relationship, in that if you only focus on the negative aspects, you surely cannot expect good things to happen.
Instead, start to think about the positive things you have in your life. This is the first step to manifesting abundance. Focus on the good things to start with. Think of even the little things; for instance, you have a home to go to, food on your table and so on. If you even have this, you already have a lot to be thankful for. Once you can be grateful for the things you have, you can begin to shift your focus outwards to the good things you want to bring into your life.
There is no point to blaming anyone else for your circumstances. Your life is your own and it is largely if not entirely the product of your own thought processes. Perhaps you want happiness, success or wealth. However, if these are not the things that you focus your thoughts on, they are not what will come to you.
Do yourself a favor and try one of these experiments so that you can see for yourself how changing the way you think can effectively change your life. First of all, you need to immediately stop thinking about how much money you would like to have, and you need to stop worrying about your debts. This is something you need to start doing immediately. From this moment on you need to think about how much money you already have, and you need to think about the fact that you have been more money to pay for everything you have.
Another experiment is this: start to think; not only that, believe that you have plenty of financial resources, no matter what you may have thought before. It will take some effort to do this, since you have to keep those old patterns of worrying about money out of your mind. In order to manifest abundance, this is the key – you have to genuinely think that you already have everything you need.
As they say, like attracts like. If you keep your mental focus on the good things in your life, the result will be attracting more of these good things to you. All of us can have the lives that we want; it is only a matter of learning to use the power of your thoughts and manifest abundance.
