Shorts Or Trousers For Work?
There seem to be a lot of people out there that believe that all their employees should always walk into work wearing snappy suits and shiny shoes even during the very warm summer months but are this really necessary or are they taking things too far?
Well the great thing for me is that I am in the office as we speak and at the moment I am sitting at my desk in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, am I not doing my job in the right way, well I am doing it better cause I am relaxed in my everyday clothes. A lot of bosses out there actually put all of these rules into place not only for a bit of power but because they believe customers are actually going to care what the workers are wearing and this really is not the case simply because if your employees are all sweating in suits on a warm day they are going to look stupid, very stupid, not to mention smell.
One of the things that we do here is to actually mix the two ideas together. If a customer is coming in for a meeting and you are going to be a big part of the meeting then by all means pop a suit on and go for it but if they aren’t then what is the point in feeling uncomfortable all day? This should be true for a lot of office based companies whether you have serviced offices Londonor serviced offices Victoria.
So I personally feel that unless you actually need all of your workers to be in something then why even bother adding the stress of this to your work place?. You wouldn’t know works in a store and who doesn’t if there wasn’t uniform in place but for an office I really cannot see a problem with people working in London serviced officesto be wearing what they want.
So there you have it really, in the end it is up to the person who owns the company I just feel that it relaxes people a lot more which is always good.
