How Do You Quit Smoking Cigarettes?

This article describes how creating a goal or target can help you to succeed in life. Setting targets has among other things helped me to quit smoking cigarettes. I hope you enjoy reading my article.

I do not personally work in this industry; I actually provide a one-way link building service, advice about egg donation and I work part-time for a front doors company.

With respect to the targets a book will always stick in my mind; a book which had an interesting description of a survey that had been commissioned for 100 kids who were in the final year of their regular schooling. The main question the people who commissioned the survey were interested in was about where the children wanted to be in five years time and what they wanted to be doing, for example in their business life.

It goes without saying that the majority of kids at this age are rather un-mature and only five of the answers ended up being considered as a proper target for the future. Five years later these one hundred people were contacted again and were asked to fill in yet another survey. The results were quite staggering as the five children who had set a goal for the future had a higher combined net worth than the other ninety five added together. Money of course is not everything in life, however for me this showed, that is if you believe everything that you read, that you are more likely to be a success in life if you set yourself a goal.

I then worked through the areas of my life that I was less than impressed with. At this time of my life I was smoking about 15 fags per day. This was something I quite enjoyed but which I knew was not healthy for me and something which also cost me a lot of money.

I set myself small targets, I would firstly reduce my intake to only ten a day and after two weeks reduce it down to five. I would then try to totally stop smoking after around a month.

This sounded so simple, however proved to be quite difficult. I was determined to stick to my goals and kept thinking of all of the benefits of quitting smoking. I am happy to say I was successful in my quest to stop smoking, even though it did take rather longer than one month.

Employee Satisfaction Survey Can Be A Useful Tool

Back in his day, everything was very command-and-control. The top give the order and expect all the people below to follow. Today, things have changed. It is well-known that employees who are happy do better work and are more productive, so management is not wise to hammer them.

He knew that I had been right in the past, so he finally gave in. Afer all, customer surveys have done wonder to our company, allowing us to respond to client more appropriately. It was reasonable to assume that an employee satisfaction survey would do the same. Creating the right employee satisfaction surveys, wqhich is different from the free online surveys.

This however, was more tougher than I thought. You see, it is very tough to come up with just the right questions to ask. I wanted to let the old man know what concerns his underlings had, but I did not want to antagonize him. The fact is, he had no idea just how bad moral was at the time, and I didn’t want to break it to him all at once. That would make him become defensive, and that will spoil the plan.

Finally, I was able to come up with the perfect employee satisfaction surveys. In a bigger business, employee satisfaction surveys will need many quantifiable questions. Since our office consisted of no more than 40 people, however, I was able to put in a lot of space for personal feedback. I was gambling that people wouldn’t be quite as critical in print as they would with questions meant to gauge their happiness, and I was right. By allowing employees to say what needed improvement most, I was able to provide some really meaningful feedback that was also sufficiently understated. Although the boss grumbled and cursed, he also took the employment satisfaction surveys to heart. It’s been only a short time, but we can all see the changes are happening.
