Fiction News Of Othman Being A U.S. Space Extraterrestrial Ambassador
Sunday there were rumors on the web about the United Nations sending out an alien ambassador. The United Nations Office for Outer space affairs, and also a Malaysian astrophysicist, Mazlan Othman, was expected to be the one to take the job. Othman said on record that it would only happen if it were in response to alien visitors already come. Rapidly increasing discoveries of planets outside the solar system make the possibility of extraterrestrial contact less outrageous than within the recent past. Earth was given a warning about extraterrestrial life because of all the concerns. This warning originated from Stephen Hawking. There is not going to be an alien ambassador, says the British newspaper after it received an e-mail from Othman.
United Nations to organize humanity’s reaction to aliens?
The U.N. extraterrestrial ambassador rumor “broke” in the Sunday Times. It right away begun flying all around the world. The search for alien transmission was something Othman spoke about in a recent seminar. It was quoted in the Sunday Times. She explained that earth needs to be ready to respond at any minute. Othman also gave the opinion the United Nations should be responsible for this. Othman was said by the Australian to be in Britain next week for a scientific conference sponsored by the Royal Society. It said she would be speaking on contacting the aliens at that time.
Looking for aliens
The first extrasolar planet, or exoplanet, was confirmed to exist in 1992. At least a hundred more exoplanets were found on the Kepler Mission. This was a National Aeronautics and Space Administration outer space observatory that had been launched in 2009. Stephen Hawking warned Earth although there is probably not any intelligent alien life. In an interview with the Sunday Times, Hawking said that instead of seeking the aliens out, mankind should be attempting to avoid getting noticed. A planet with more resources would look like heaven to most aliens. This is probably what would happen. He knows that this is something we all can imagine. Just looking in the mirror can show us the consequences. “We only have to look at ourselves to view how intelligent life might develop into something we would not want to meet.”
Are there aliens on the planet?
The U.N. alien ambassador story was brought down to Earth by Othman herself. The Guardian looked for real facts rather than just going with every person else. Othman’s speech on alien contact was questioned by the British newspaper. It even called the Royal Society to ask about it. Nobody had heard about this. The U.N. referred all inquiries about the Office for Outer Space Affairs to an unresponsive switchboard in Vienna. A Guardian e-mail is what got Othman’s reaction where she said there was no U.N. alien ambassador story. She wrote “It sounds really cool, but I have to deny it.” There is a real problem that needs to be solved in her speech at the Royal Society. Earth may be colliding with some objects in its rotation soon which will be discussed.
