What kind of news coverage in U.S. did the 1993 violence in Mumbai get?

February 25th, 2009
Pascha asked:

A current news story says that the recent violence was the worst since the “serial killings” of 273 people in Mumbai in 1993.
But I don’t remember hearing about that at the time.
Was that covered in the U. S. media?
Or is there very little coverage of widespread events of terror overseas when Americans are not involved?

Negligible and negligent in that it was also a warning of a possible attack on USA too! What followed is part of history!
